Meet the Team - Ko wai mātou 2023
Anna Pryde
Kia ora koutou, I’m excited to be part of the 2023-2024 Summer Learning Journey commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s hard mahi as they look to continue their learning over the summer.
I’ve been teaching for 5 years, 4 of these teaching in a wonderful Manaiakalani school (Panmure Bridge School). I’m currently living and teaching in the beautiful Otautahi (Christchurch) and enjoying every minute of it.
In my free time I love to play sport, read, puzzle and of course get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine.
I’ll be looking out for everyone’s awesome summer blogging. Can’t wait to see what exciting things you share.

I am very excited to be working for the Manaiakalani Education Trust over the summer and supporting the students in our Summer Learning Journey.
I have just completed my second year of teaching at an intermediate in the Kapati region .
I grew up in the Sunny region of Northland in a small, beach town called Ruakaka. Here grew my love for the outdoors as we spent most weekends swimming, tramping, and exploring our beautiful country.
I enjoy board games, playing music, hiking, skiing, and travelling - not much of that happening at the moment though.
I am looking forward to getting to know connect with a lot of learners over the summer.

I have been working with Manaiakalani and the Summer Learning Journey as a blog commenter for five years now!
I work in the Horowhenua region as an intermediate school teacher, my favourite thing to teach them about is New Zealand History. I hope to have my class participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year.
I grew up in the Far, Far North surrounded by the beaches so I spent a lot of my time outside swimming. In my spare time I like to paint, read and listen to music. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places and meeting new people.
I am really looking forward to getting to know all you bloggers and seeing everyone's awesome posts this summer!
